PENGARUH MOTIVASI KERJA DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT. ORANGE INDONESIA MANDIRI MEDAN

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of motivation to improve performance effectiveness and a poor work environment resulting in a decrease in employee morale and performance. This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work environment on employee performance at PT. Orange Indonesia Independent Medan.

The population in this study are employees of PT. Orange Indonesia Mandiri Medan, totaling 70 respondents, while the sampling technique in this study used a total sampling technique. The sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection method in this study used the method of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis and multiple linear regression.

The results of multiple linear regression analysis that show Y = 15,181 + 0,385X1 + 0,177X2 + e. while the results of the t test indicate that the effect of work motivation and work environment has a positive and significant effeck on employee performance at PT. Orange Indonesia Mandiri Medan, where it can be seen that work motivation tcount 4,592 > ttable 1,9960 and the value of sig (0,000) < alpha 5% (0.05) and the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Orange Indonesia Mandiri Medan, where it can be seen that the value of tcount = 2,199 > ttable = 1,9960 and sig (0.031) < alpha 5% (0,05). Then the results of the F test were obtained simultaneously that there was a positive and significant effect of work motivation (X1) and work environment (X2) variables on employee performance (Y) and the value of Fcount = 28.354 > Ftable = 3.1337. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R2) is known to be worth 0,442. So it can be said that 44,2% of the variation of the independent variable, namely the influence of work motivation and work environment, can explain the dependent variable, namely the performance of employees at PT. Orange Indonesia Mandiri Medan, while the remaining 55.8% is influenced by other variable.
